Click on the blue highligted text - If your company supports syncing directly with its exchange server you can "set up your device to sync with it"
Type in your exchange email address "jane@inv.com.au
UNTICK the box "Attempt to detect Exchange Server Settings automatically"
Click Next
Enter the server address: getafix.exchange.mailsolutions.com.au
Make sure the "This server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection box is TICKED
Click Next
Enter your username: inv.jane
Enter your exchange mailbox password (same one you use for outlook and OWA)
Enter the Domain as: exchange
TICK the save password box (required for automatic sync)
Click Next
Choose the data you want to synchronise (generall tick all the boxes)
For more refined options, click on email, and choose settings you can then choose exactly what you wish to download. It is not recommended to include attachments, as you can download these on a per email basis if you want. You can limit the size of the portion of the email you wish to download to save on data, particularly if you do not have a large download allowance from your phone provider. Click OK to save the options while in the settings screen.
You can also click on calendar and choose settings to select the preferred timeframe that you wish to sycnchronise appointments to your device.
After customising your settings choose Finish
If your device has a valid internet connection, it should commencing sycning with exchange. After it has completed, your email shoudl be available through Start, messaging & outlook Email. Your device contacts should also match those in outlook, and will be updated every time you adjust your outlook data, and vice versa.
